I met my first Borzoi when I was in high school 1974 and was immediately hooked on the breed. She was a sweet, beautiful red and white bitch named Maria and I couldn't believe my eyes. I said someday I'm going to have a dog like that. Ten years later, married and in a house with a fenced yard, my husband John and I went to Majenkir Kennel and brought home Cameo. She had a short show career and then became a loving pet. She lived for 14 years.

Since then we have had dogs from the Phaedra Borzoi Kennel. Our first Champion Kouros was multiple BOB winner, award of merit at Westminster and appeared on the David Letterman show. He lived to be 13. We had our first litter in 1995 co-bred with Carol Kubiak-Zamora (Phaedra) which produced Ch. Porcelain Phaedra Momentum. Today, eight years, later we finally have our second litter out of Ch Phaedra Juliet V Porcelain X Am. Can Ch. Entwood Ivan Grozny JC owned by Gale Snoddy (Melockoff Borzoi). On 9/29/03 Juliet graced us with 10 lovely baby girls and one handsome fella. We are very proud of these puppies and invite you to take your time and enjoy them too. They are "home raised" with free run to get proper exercise for development in large fenced fields. Last but not least their parents have the sweetest temperament you could ask for and I'm sure the pups will follow in that.

Our mission is to breed and raise healthy, happy, sound dogs while
complying strictly to the Borzoi Club of America breed standard.
